Swee, Sakura from Street Fighter has joined Monster Hunter: World at last. Sakura first made her debut in Street Fighter Alpha 2 as Ryu’s biggest fan. No wonder they both crossed over together into Monster Hunter: World. Macam inseparable sia.
There were other crossover events between Capcom’s games too. Earlier in April, Dante from Devil May Cry had his own crossover event with Monster Hunter: World. Players could unlock Dante’s signature white hair along with his red jacket. End up looking hotter than Singapore’s weather.
Earlier Monster Hunter games also had crossovers from Street Fighter. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate had super cute palico versions of Chun-Li and Blanka. I wonder if Capcom would be nice enough to add these cute palicos into Monster Hunter: World for us to enjoy. Lagi best is if Akuma is able to join Monster Hunter: World as well. Given how popular Akuma is, one can only hope that day is not far away!
For those who are interested, here are some quick and easy steps to obtain Sakura’s armour. Simple one, sumpah!
First, walk over to the challenge hub.
Next, accept the challenge quest called “Empress in Full Bloom” (Requires Hunter Rank 12).
Lastly, kill all the monsters!
Easy right? Don’t say never share advice ah. Faster go unlock, chop chop kali pok. The Sakura event ends on 10th May.
Monster Hunter: World is an action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom, and the fifth mainline installment in the Monster Hunter series, it was released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018, with a Microsoft Windows version following in August 2018. In the game, the player takes the role of a Hunter, tasked to hunt down and either kill or trap monsters that roam in one of several environmental spaces. If successful, the player is rewarded through loot consisting of parts from the monster and other elements that are used to craft weapons and armor, amongst other equipment. The game’s core loop has the player crafting appropriate gear to be able to hunt down more difficult monsters, which in turn provide parts that lead to more powerful gear. Players may hunt alone or in a group of up to four players via the game’s online multiplayer.
