I’m not a big fan of horror. In fact I hate it. So imagine having to sit down watching the Agony story trailer with headphones on. Not fun at all sia.
Agony is an upcoming dark fantasy survival horror video game developed by Madmind Studio. Back in November 2016, the developers of Agony started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the game. The Kickstarter campaign was a success. 3,926 backers pledged CA$182,642 (S$191,225). Phew, these people must really love their horror lor.
Players begin their journey as a tormented soul within the depths of hell, without any memories of their past. With the special ability to mind control people and demons, the player needs to survive and escape from hell. The only way out? Find the Red Goddess.
The game is freaky. Weird monsters and creepy music is going to haunt you as you wander through the game. The trailer itself gives me the creeps. Can’t imagine actually playing the game. I think I’ll need to play it during the day sia. Just take a look at some of the things you will meet.

From the story trailer it seems that the game is definitely not for the squeamish or those who are not a fan of the horror genre. You will encounter weird beings and torture people you meet. I saw one guy’s eye get ripped out. Nevertheless, do check out their trailer. Agony looks like a proper horror game that brings the scares in all the right places. Tak boleh tahan la.
