It’s been less than a month after releasing Rialto, but Blizzard has announced another the new Overwatch map, Petra. Blizzard fast game sia. The map reveal happened at halftime during the Overwatch League match between the Philadelphia Fusion and Florida Mayhem.
Petra is playable only in Overwatch‘s Deathmatch mode. That means a free for all, kill-everyone-if-you-can situation. Time to up game ah, no one to rely on but yourself. It seems that the map is based in Egypt based on the hieroglyphics visible. The map is grounds for an archaeological excavation and preservation project. Uniquely, it features destructible environments for players to use strategically.
Although the map had been leaked earlier, this announcement marks Blizzard’s official release of the map. Petra will go live at the same time as the Overwatch Anniversary event. That means players get to enjoy new skins, emotes and a new map as well. Swee la.
