It’s time to get your sunblock on. Pokémon Go will be receiving new forms of several Kanto region Pokémon. Their Alolan forms from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be available for aspiring Pokémon trainers to capture. Shiok sia, does this mean that its time to download Pokémon Go again?

Sunny days are ahead! Whether your forecast calls for rain or shine, we’re celebrating all around the world by introducing some special Pokémon from the tropical Alola region to Pokémon GO. Get ready for some of the Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region to appear in their Alolan forms! These unique variants were first seen in the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon video games, and they will make their way to Pokémon GO in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for news related to this exciting change—and don’t forget to tell your friends! Stay safe, and happy exploring!
Niantics didn’t provide any further details. However, the blog post came with a teaser image that revealed several silhouettes. From the image, Raichu, Meowth, Diglett and Exeggutor will have their Alolan forms released. Hopefully all the alolan forms will be released eventually. Then can match Singapore’s sunny island hor?
It is interesting that Niantics had decided to release Alolan forms into the game. This means that the most recent generation of Pokémon games has made it into Pokémon Go. However, there are still players in certain parts of the world waiting on the fourth generation Pokémon. Quite sad leh. Niantics, don’t forget about these people ah.
