Something funny has happened on Chinese game site A9VG. Recently, they covered Kingdom Hearts III and they decided to do one thing. It’s pretty obvious. Winnie the Pooh kena censored into just a white blob.
On the first look, it may seem pretty funny but there’s a legit reason behind their actions. This is to get around censors, so A9VG decided to edit out Winnie the Pooh. Chinese leader Xi Jinping has been repeatedly compared to Winnie the Pooh which has led to a crackdown of the character on Chinese social media.
Sceptical? Well the recent movie Christopher Robin was banned in China. Other Chinese game sites have shown the image of Winnie the Pooh so it looks like A9VG is playing things safe. Siao liao, life is hard if they need to keep censoring the lovable character.
