The police has arrested a video game streamer in Australia on Monday night and charged him with assault due to the alleged domestic abuse of his girlfriend while he was streaming Fortnite on Twitch
There are clips of the incident online. If you watch the clip, the streamer, MrDeadMoth, shouts at his girlfriend who is off camera, to go away while she asks him to stop playing video games. After awhile, he goes off camera, there is a loud slapping sound, and then the sound of a woman crying. After which, he returns to his chair saying, “Fuck off dog, you don’t pay the bills”. Following which, MrDeadMoth leaves the camera again and the fight continues.
The Camden Police Area Command in New South Wales, Australia responded to the alleged domestic violence attack after someone reported the incident. This comes from a press release by the department. The streamer has been granted conditional bail and his court date set for 13 December, while an apprehended violence order, essentially a restraining order has been served.
