Battlefield 6 is finally back and oh my what a comeback it is! I have always loved the Battlefield franchise and after the last one that started bad but got better in the end, Battlefield 6 started really strong and sure as hell it is gonna stay for a long time. I’ve had about 30 hours of gameplay so far and just in time for the season 1 battle pass. It also features new weapons and maps and the highly anticipated RedSec which is Battle Royale with squads.
To be honest, I was never a fan of any Battle Royale based games. Basically cos I tend to die about 5000 times in a game( I prefer the Rambo-esque approach). So with Battlefield 6’s RedSec, they added battle royale built for squads , voice comms and vehicles all in it. I tried it a few times with random people as squadmates and as always, we never get to sync well and die early. Even though there are mini missions that give you XP and weapon upgrades. It’s best to play with friends especially with comms cos going in without it, is quite tough.
Playing Gauntlet is interesting. Four squads against each other and you try to get as many points as you can get. All while the mode and objective changes every round and the last squad with the lowest points gets eleminated. This is the most fun I had for RedSec. As for the Battle pass, some of the items you get are not too bad. Double XPs, and BF credits are always good. Also some of the gun skins and soldier skins are nice.
Ok, so beside Redsec, my overall experience with playing Battlefield 6 has been good. There are some really fun maps to play and there are some maps riddled with snipers. Operation Firestorm( a classic BF map) is one of them. I enjoyed playing Empire State cos it has a little bit of everything in it. close quarter combat, snipers and tanks to blow shit up. Siege of Cairo Chokepoint is another one of my fav fun filled map. Yea the levelution is amazing. If you know fuckers are camping at a certain building. You blow that building to smithereens. I hate Liberation Peak, cos it all depends on which side of the hill you are on. One will be sniper heaven and the other will be you getting fatal headshots about 5000 times. New Sobek City and Mirak Valley are new maps and they are fun to play. I enjoy playing those maps. I also have to say this. All the maps are designed beautifully. So much attention to it and it’s really nice.
All in all, Battlefield 6 is good. I have fun with it and I can see myself playing it for a long time and I’m so happy that it’s back.
