I have never played any of the Kingdom Hearts games before and this is my first time playing it. I have to say despite the overtly cutesy Disney element, Kingdom Hearts III is a pretty fun game to play.

This game has been a very long wait for KH fans and I am pretty sure it was worth it. There are fans who have said that this game is definitely the best one so far by Square Ennix and we rightfully agree so. This is coming from two guys. one, who is playing this for the first time and my buddy, Justin who has played the previous games before. The graphics are good and at times there is a psychedelic feel to it. Gameplay is simple and you can get used to the buttons quickly. The combo attacks are pretty cool as well. My fav are the special attacks, you can use like the classic Disney attraction, the Pirate ship. Your character will keep shouting Yes! every 3 secs and it always makes us laugh. Though the cut scenes can be a tad too long but it is essential as this is a story based game after all. The theme song at the start which was composed by Yoko Shimomura, captures the feel of Kingdom Hearts. I’m sure fans would have felt nostalgia, listening to it.
You play Sora and your buddies, Goofy and Donald Duck prepare for an upcoming war against the forces of darkness by gathering the Guardians of Light. There are times when the dialogues can be cheesy, downright ridiculous and out of place but then again that’s what it’s all about. As you keep playing you will meet several prominent Disney or Pixar characters that are bound to make you smile.
It is definitely a game for adults and kids to play together and have fun. We highly recommend you to get this game if you love Disney characters. Enjoy.
Kingdom Hearts III is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC now.
