PVP Esports will be at the Singapore Comic Con (SGCC) from 7 to 8 December this year! As the official esports presenter of SGCC 2019, PVP Esports promises a happening weekend which will include the finals of Singtel’s two PVP esports leagues, global celebrity appearances, panel discussions, developer showcases and exclusive giveaways from Huawei, Secret Lab, Razer and more! Swee lah!
TYou can also catch the highly-anticipated grand finals of Singtel’s PVP Corporate and Campus Leagues, the culmination of months of online and offline qualifiers that drew over 2,000 gamers. On the first day of SGCC, regional PVP Corporate League finalists from Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia will go head-to-head across titles Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Dota 2. The winners will win from a total prize pool of S$5,000 in cash and S$20,000 that will be donated to a charity of their choice. The PVP Campus League finals will be played on the next day, where three teams from tertiary schools from Singapore will play for cash and prizes worth S$20,000 in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Esports fans can get up close with their favourite gaming heroes, influencers and streamers like Sébastien ‘Ceb’ Debs, offlaner for back-to-back champions OG at Dota 2’s premier competition, International cosplayer and celebrity streamer Alodia Gosiengfiao, YouTube gaming and comedy sketch channel Viva la Dirt League. Fans will also stand a chance to win exclusive 1v1 slots to play and learn from Dota 2 legend Ceb himself.
There will also be talks by experts from Blizzard Entertainment and Huawei and two exclusive panel discussions focused on streaming and content creation. You can also play Hearthstone by the fireplace at Blizzard Entertainment’s booth or cheer teams on at the inter-university Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament organised by Nanyang Technological University. You can also challenge PVP Ambassadors Asterisk* and Resurgence at 1v1s for Dota Underlords, or hang out with esports network eGG and favourite personalities like Faraz Shabibi and Wong Shu-Faye.
