I finally had the chance to play Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and I have to admit this First Person Shooter is a polished, well planned game with fantastic gunplay in a beautiful environment. I am awed and I am pretty sure The Division 2 will be a top FPS game for 2019.

I always love games who take pride in their character customization. Division 2 is one of them. It may take me awhile to do up my character but I love doing it. Customizing your character’s look alone have so many functions. And they look great.
Division 2 takes place where the first game left off. I have not played the first game before so I was a little lost about the story line and all. It did took me awhile to get adjusted and once I got the momentum, I was hooked to the gameplay. I really loved the gunplay. It’s smooth and quite realistic, especially when you shoot long bursts and there is the tendency to shoot up cause of the recoil. Enemy AI are much smarter. They don’t just stand around and get shot. They actually do take cover and wait for you to make a move like aim elsewhere or reload, then only will they fire back at you. It’s also not so easy taking them down. A few short bursts will do the trick, so you have to plan your reload carefully.
There are different type of enemies like snipers( hate them), rushers and engineers. Rushers are like machiam suicide bombers. These crazy fellas love to chiong at you. The engineers uses battle bots to try and crush you. Most of the enemies can spawn back to a more hardened versions so you have to be careful on how you kill them.
There are very interesting loots and you have chests and collectibles lying around so it’s really good for you to explore around. All the PvE zones, in order for you to level up, you need to find safe houses, search the landscape for SHD caches, complete missions and capture control points. Some of the missions have quite interesting story lines and you have to do something different from your normal standard missions like putting out flames by shooting valves or follow a power cord to destroy a circuit in order for you to open a door. Too bad the boss fights are quite boring. It would have been more fun if they had incorporated some of things you do in a mission for the boss fights.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed playing Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. If you are a fan of First Person Shooter games or even into military stuff, you should definitely give this game a shot. Definitely one of the better FPS games out for this year.
