Today at the Microsoft E3 press conference, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice announced by From Software leh. You know what that means? The Dark Souls studio has some yet another punishing game in store for gamers. This time, the game stars a grizzled man with a prosthetic arm.
From the trailer, it seems that From Software took a look at Nioh and thought to themselves, we can make a better samurai game than them. Let’s do it. Compared to the games in the Dark Souls series, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice seems to provide more mobility for players to maneuver with. The protagonist showed how you can use the prosthetic arm to grapple towards enemies and ledges.
Something that looks new is the respawn system. Typically when you die in Dark Souls, you throw your controller at the wall and then respawn at the bonfire. This time, it seems that you respawn directly where you died, giving you a chance to backstab your unsuspecting enemy.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice looks to be released sometime in 2019 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. Prepare to die bodoh.
