New Alien game? Power lah. I really hope this is true and does not disappoint. I have been a fan of the Alien movies and I watch them annually. I remember fondly playing the shooter arcade game when I was a teenager. And the gun is designed just like the marines would use. It was damn fun and I usually spent most of my tokens on it. There was also the Alien vs Predator console game but it was quite disappointing. The last one was Alien Isolation which was 4 years ago. I didn’t really have a chance to play it but from what I have read, the reviews were good.
Apparently the game will be developed by Cold Iron Studios. It will not be a sequel to Alien Isolation though. Even though Cold Iron Studios are quite new to the gaming industry but they have some pretty impressive star players. When you have guys who have done games like Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands and Metroid Prime, you know shit just got real.
So far there is no information but it looks like it is going to be a “shooter” kind of game. There’s also no news of a release date or what platforms it will be launched.

OK lah Crag, I will wait for your game to come out. I sincerely hope it’s gonna be like an all out blitzkrieg first person shooter and I get to use weapons like the marines used and blast the Xenomorphs to smithereens. And to make it even cooler, the back grounds are from iconic scenes of all the Aliens franchise. One can only hope.
