Yo ho ho and a bottle of your enemy’s blood. League of Legends has a new champion, Pyke the Bloodharbor Ripper. Champions beware, this new support champion is deadly and thirsty for your death. Best not to underestimate him or else confirm mati liao.
Background
Pyke used to be a pirate before being betrayed. Returning back to life, Pyke now hunts those who had betrayed him. Maybe even going beyond his list. Macam Jack the Ripper like that. Check out Pyke’s background from the trailer.
Abilities
Riot Games released a page detailing how Pyke is played. Despite being a support champion, Pyke can be dangerously murderous. Pyke can hurl a Bone Skewer to hit and slow multiple enemies (by tapping Q) or harpoon one and pull them towards him (by holding Q). Sort of like Blitzcrank like that lor.
Pyke can Ghostwater Dive to drop into stealth and swim quickly. His Phantom Undertow is a dash which leaves a spirit at the starting point which damages and stuns enemies it passes through on its way back to Pyke. Super useful to CC enemies when needed.
Hit ultimate, Death from Below, allows Pyke to blink to a spot marked with an X and execute all enemies below a certain amount of health. When out of sight, Pyke’s passive allows him to quickly heal some of his lost health too. All bonus health Pyke receives is converted to damage. Siao liao, even more dps incoming.
However, there is no release date on when Pyke is being released into the game. Pirate-murderer lovers would have to wait for awhile longer before enjoying slaying your enemies with Pyke. But from what has been shown, Pyke seems to be an interesting champion to try out. Faster release leh Riot.
