As part of their countdown to E3 2018, Sony has released a Days Gone trailer and a blogpost with further details on the game. In the E3 2016 gameplay trailer, we saw a huge horde of zombies chasing after the protagonist. The tension to survive the wave was insane sia. And it looks like the idea of the game hasn’t changed much, which means more nail biting zombie action. Huat ah.
Together with the trailer is a blogpost on the game. According to the post, the game is about survivors and the human emotions behind each character. About the hope that lives despite the world looking bleak. Players will control Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter struggling to survive and looking for a reason to live.
There will be unique enemies. There are other human drifters, marauders and other groups to deal with. In addition, there are Freakers, the “zombies” of the game.
So far, the game looks extremely promising. Hopefully we will get to see more of Days Gone at E3. The game is set to be released on 22 February 2019.
