Mighty Bear Games mentioned today that it has raised seed funding worth millions of dollars for its next-generation online games. Mighty Bear Games is a globally focused games studio located in Singapore that rose from Nonstop Games in 2016.
The team consists of game industry veterans with over a combined total of 50 years of experience in both gaming and technology. The team memberes come from King, Ubisoft, EA, LucasArts, Disney, Bigpoint, Gameloft and Jagex.
The investors in this Singapore based studio include Skycatcher, Everblue and Mventures, with backing from Global Founders Capital and angel investors such as Lev Leviev of VK.com, Eastern Europe’s largest social network.
The Mighty Bear team is currently market testing its first game in the Philippines and India before a global launch on iOS and Android later this year. The company will be making casual MMORPG for mobile devices. Keep an eye out for their games ah.
