Redditor u/trking92 picked up on something shady going on during the third match of Thunder Gaming versus SG. During the third match, AtuuN picked meepo and trking92 noticed that AtuuN was casting meepo’s skill ‘poof’ at an extremely fast speed, almost as if they were poofing at the same time. trking92 did his homework, posting multiple evidence of AtuuN’s use of macro.

A Dota 2 developer had mentioned that using macros is illegal. However, this was back in 2012 and it’s uncertain if the rules had changed since then. For further information and evidence by trking92, check out his Reddit post.

[UPDATE]Thunder Gaming has been disqualified from The International 2018. SG replaces Thunder Gaming and continues on in the qualifiers.
