Wah, check it out, Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour announced by Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia just a few minutes ago only. The fighting game tournament series is set to take place around the world. Amazing sia!
The Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour was created in partnership with Twitch, will which be overseeing league operations as well as events. Twitch will be holding exclusive rights to stream the tournament live.
The inaugural stop of the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour begins at the CEO Fighting Game Championships which takes place 29 June to 1 July in Daytona Beach, Florida. Being a worldwide tournament, the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour will feature seven main “Saga Event” stops. The first five are; CEO Fighting Game Championships (USA), VS Fighting (United Kingdom), Ultimate Fighting Arena (France), Thunderstruck (Mexico), SEA Major (Singapore) with 2 more to be announced. The tournaments will culminate at a Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals event to be held in January 2019.
The SEA Major will be taking place at Gamestart 2018 on 13 and 14 October. Time to head down Singapore!
