About a month ago, we reported on how Clutch Guild won the chance to compete and represent the MSP (Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines) region in the upcoming Arena of Valor World Cup (AWC). In an unfortunate turn of events, it seems that Clutch Guild is unable to represent the MSP region at the upcoming AWC.
According to a video made by Clutch Guild, the team announced that they had their visa interview on 28 June in order to head to the United States to be a part of the AWC. Unfortunately, Clutch Guild’s application was rejected and there are no further appointment slots for the next few weeks. As a result, Clutch Guild will not be able to secure a visa in time for the AWC.
The video also introduced the new team that will be representing the MSP region in AWC. The team will consist of 813, Elespresso, TaintedOnes, Love, Lnky, Dusk, and JB. Quite suay la. It’s a pity the original team is not able to attend the AWC.
The AWC is slated to be held at Los Angeles this July with a total prize pool of $550,000 (S$750,035). Keep your eyes on the tournament to catch the new representatives of the MSP region in action.
