Sea has just announced that the company has entered a long term publishing partnership with Tencent.
Garena, Sea’s digital entertainment arm and affliate of Tencent has signed a binding letter of intent. This letter means Tencent will grant Garena a right of first refusal to publish Tencent’s mobile and PC games in Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
Garena already publishes a number of successful games from Tencent including Arena of Valor and League of Legends and this arrangement strengthens a long-standing partnership between Garena and Tencent.
Following the implementation of this arrangement, the two companies plan to work together to promote top titles from Tencent. This arrangement will be held for the next five years.
It looks like Garena will have some exciting new games to offer in the upcoming years. Time to get hyped sia!
