Razer’s new headquarters in Singapore will be done by 2020. Location will be at one-north in Buona Vista. The seven storey building will have Razer design elements with its signature Razer green LED lighting. Boustead Projects’ joint venture firm will develop the new headquarters which has an estimated gross floor area of 19,300 sq m. Right now their office is situated in Chai Chee industrial estate.
This is pretty awesome for Razer and for Singapore as well. And judging from the design of the building, it really has got that villainy vibe to it. Like this is the place for the final boss fight. Even Razer co founder and chief executive Tan Min-Liang tweeted it as such. And his display pic isn’t helping him either. Hahahaha
“This is an exciting time… as we continue to advance our operations on the back of the robust growth of the e-sports and gaming markets across the world.” – Razer co-founder and chief executive Tan Min-Liang
Looks like it is going to be a busy year for Razer. Not only have they got their new smart phone out, Razer Turret for Xbox One and Razer Blade Stealth 13, Razer Pay which has already started in Malaysia, will be launching in Singapore early this year. Razer Pay can also be used at retail chains such as 7-Eleven and Starbucks outlets across South-east Asia. So having a headquarters in Singapore would make it more easier and convenient for them.
