Book of Demons developed by Thing Trunk and 505 Games, is a dungeon crawling game which is similar to OG games like Torchlight and Diablo but the difference is, you have a deck of cards as part of your arsenal.
Whether it is healing cards, dealing more damage or buffing up your stats, each card plays a very important role that aids you through the entire game.
There are 3 classes, you can choose from. Warrior, Rogue or Mage. You can unlock Rogue and Mage once you hit level 5 as you play Warrior.

Basically, it is up to you how long you want for each of your quests. Of course, the longer you choose the length of each levels, the more rewards you’ll reap.
There is an interactive mini-game if you got stunned by bosses. Objective of the mini game is to catch the stars for you to recover and you can get back into the game. The controls are pretty easy to use and you can get used to it in no time. The Right analog stick serves as a movement to collect items while you move with the Left analogue stick.
Every time you complete a level, you can choose to go back to the town and upgrade your cards. You can unlock new skill slots or extract the rewards which you have collected through each levels. But do take note, every time you extract your rewards, your next extraction cost will increase, so it’s best to store it to a certain amount that you find fit.
Overall, the gameplay feels very fluid and dynamic. Book of Demons engages you right from the start and it’s quite addictive as you build your skills based on the cards you’ve obtained.
