In the finals of the Arena of Valor World Cup, it was a showdown between Korean and Thailand. Taking place on 29 July at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, Korea overcame Thailand in a best-of-7 series with a close 4-3 score to claim the title of the first Arena of Valor World Cup Champions.
Team Korea comprises of Chaser, Rush, Hak, Sun, JJak and their coach Rn, bringing home their share of the prize pool with over USD 200,000 (S$272,320). In addition, Rush also took home the MVP award.

Team Thailand had also put up an impressive fight, narrowly losing to Koreawith a 3-4 defeat. Being AWC’s 1st Runner-up, team Thailand will be taking home more than USD 100,000 (S$136,159).
