Fortnite Battle Royale season four is coming to a close. It had been one hectic ride with meteors, superpowers and Thanos. Don’t worry that the season is ending. That doesn’t mean the hype is dead yet ah. Because Epic Games has announced that Fortnite Season five is coming this July, just one day after the end of season four on 12 July, 4.00 am ET (4.00 pm SGT).
Although season five is happening soon, there’s isn’t much information on what is going to happen. Last weekend, there was a missile launch and rifts opening up in the sky and on the map itself. They definitely will have some role to play in the game but so far nothing is certain. What we do know is that the rifts are getting bigger and bigger after each day. Is it time for a parallel universe crossover with PUBG?
Like previous seasons of Fortnite, season five will begin with server maintenance that will keep the game down for an hour or so. Players will then be able to enter the game and see the changes. Stay tune for more news.
