Steady lah, Capcom bringing Devil May Cry HD collection to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. And you can get it as a physical copy or digitally as well on 13th March 2018. I know I am definitely getting the physical one, just so I can look at an emo looking Dante with his big ass sword. When Dante walks, he doesn’t just walk, he freaking sashays. Hahahahaha. Damn cool lah the fella.
For those who have never heard of this awesome hack and slash game, Devil may Cry was developed by Capcom. And Hideki Kamiya who created the game, also directed the iconic Resident Evil 2. DMC was actually supposed to be a sequel for the Resident Evil series. Heng ah, it didn’t. The main character is called Dante. His goal is to avenge his mother’s death. He does that by killing all sorts of demons.
Devil May Cry is very loosely based on the Italian poem entitled, The Divine Comedy. that’s why character names like Dante, Trish, Vergil, Lucia and Cerberus will be familiar. Some of the bad guys are named after the Seven Deadly Sins.
The DMC series was so successful that comic books, novels, animated series and action figures were created.
