Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will have the freaking Predator! This is so cool! It’s just for a limited time ( Dec 14th to early January).
Now how does this work? Easy. The Predator will be like a special challenge where players, solo or groups of 2-4 will have survive and take down the Predator. Now according to Ubisoft’s blog, players who defeat the Predator will get its iconic mask and the ever classic heat vision.
Senior producer at Ubisoft, Nouredine Abboud mentions on the company’s blog page, “The mission is built to recreate some of the tension felt by Dutch and his crew in the original Predator movie. You first discover hints about the Predator’s presence before actually getting to meet and fight him. Getting that feeling of being swallowed by the surrounding jungle was something we really wanted to convey. And of course, the music takes a big part in creating the tension.” Wah power lah, still got the music some more. And according to Abboud, the Predator will run and jump through trees, taunting you from far. I wonder how is the Predator gonna do that lah. Shout Oi! and then hide ah. Hahahahaha. Not only will he have just his heat vision, the Predator will have his cloaking device, his shoulder cannon and his disc! I remember that disc weapon was used in the movie Predator 2 where it slices Gary Busey into two! That’s awesome!
The update to the in-game store will include attacks, weapons and other customization items from the movie itself. Here’s the best part. You get to play a new class of soldier which will be based on Dutch! (Arnold Schwarzenegger) GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!! So if you enjoy playing Ghost Recon Wildlands and a huge fan of the cult classic, Predator. This is your chance! Like Dutch used to say, “If it bleeds, we can kill it.”
