Steady lah EA and Criterion Games announced that there is going to be a Burnout Paradise Remastered. It will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 16th March for $39.99. This is for both physical and digital copies. As for PC, Origin will release it later this year. If you are EA Access members, you can get to play Burnout Paradise Remastered earlier on 9th March through the Play First Trial.
Burnout Paradise was one of my favorite Play Station 3 racing games back in 2008. The sheer intensity of the race and not to forget, the crashes and total disregard of danger was what made the Burnout series, unique and fun to play. I’m glad I could get to play this game again on my PlayStation 4 lah.
Here is an overview from the official Burnout website.
Return to Paradise City
In 2008, the original Burnout Paradise™ came roaring off the starting line ready to demolish the competition. Featuring breakneck racing, high-flying stunts, and — most importantly — shameless amounts of automotive destruction, Burnout Paradise set the bar for what an action racing game could be. And now, ten years later, it’s back and ready to show a new generation of consoles the true definition of a “smash hit.”
The Definitive Burnout Paradise Experience
Relive the high-octane stunts and wanton destruction of one of the greatest arcade-driving games ever. Featuring a range of technical enhancements for greater visual fidelity and authenticity, it plays natively in 1080p on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and in 4K at 60fps on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
