Here’s my confession of the day. I haven’t played any of the Crash Bandicoot games yet. Ya la, I know it’s iconic but for some reason I just haven’t. But it looks like other gamers like me who have yet to touch the series will now have the chance to do so as Crash Bandicoot N. Sane trilogy is out on PC.
The trilogy is a three-in-one bundle that upgrades the old ’90s to match the current era of games. While Crash Bandicoot contains some horizontally scrolling stages, the game came from an era where nobody knew how a 3D platformer should work. Crash moved away from the locked camera idea, kind of making it the granddaddy of those mobile endless-runner games.
The N. Sane trilogy was released earlier on the PlayStation 4 back in June last year. It had generally good reviews with a few gripes regarding the movement physics within the game. The PC version offers an improvement by doubling the frame-rate limit which was capped to 30fps.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is currently available on Steam for S$46.90. Quite a hefty price ah but it does have three games bundled in it after all.
