World champions Team T1 Entertainment & Sports organization will be partnering up with Nike. The partnership extends across all T1 teams and players, including the League of Legends team and Faker (Lee Sang-hyeok), and will see all T1 athletes wearing Nike footwear and apparel uniforms during competition.
Nike will also help create training programmes designed to enhance the athletic capabilities of T1’s
players and teams based on Nike’s unique sports research facilities and athletic training expertise. The
training programmes will be implemented at training facilities within the T1 Headquarters in Seoul,
planned to open early 2020 It will allow professional esports players to develop their athletic
capabilities, including physical and mental strength, to help them become better gamers.

T1 who started in 2012 is recognized as one of the most successful organizations in the history of esports. The T1 League of Legends team is renowned for winning three World Champions (2013, 2015 and 2016), two Mid-Season Invitationals and eight League of Champions Korea (LCK) titles, making it the most celebrated esports team in the world. Faker is widely regarded as the most iconic player of all time and has helped the T1 LoL team acquire one of the largest, most influential fandoms in all of esports.
