The Events and Commentary Mentorship (ECM) programme will feature a plethora of industry veterans from the esports commentary and events management segment of the gaming industry. It will consist of talks conducted by invited speakers and include a series of hands-on sessions to share their expertise.
If your love for gaming goes beyond playing, you might be interested in an upcoming event organised by *SCAPE from 14th to 15th and 21st to 22nd March 2020.
If commentary is your thing, you will learn more about elements such as voice projection, casting etiquette, play by play casting techniques, colour casting and many more from industry veterans such as Daryl Lim (HUNGRYCAST), Lysander Lim (LYSANDER XONORA) and Eugene Eu (ABSTRACT).
If you’re curious about what it takes to run a gaming event, representatives from illustrious organisations such as Wanda Hu (Vice President, Armaggeddon), Kimberlyn See (Operations Lead, FSL) and Chris Lim (Project Manager, ESL) will share their wealth of experience on nitty-gritty such as handling administrative duties, pre-productions setups, player management, post production, etc.
The culmination of both mentorships will have participants involved in the actual organizing of an esports event/tournament as the finale for the weekend mentorship initiative.
