Darksiders 3. I remember playing the first 2 games mainly cause I was intrigued by the story. In the Darksiders series, It’s not often you get to play as one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. First one you played as War and he had a cool VO. I also remember smashing my PS controller in frustration cause I couldn’t get through a certain stage. Second one you play as Death, he’s not too bad. Not a great VO but he had a pretty cool weapon to wield. I almost smashed my controller for this as well.
Now finally in 2018, Darksiders 3 will be out. You will play as Fury and she wields a whip like weapon. I guess that’ll be fun. However watching the game play, I don’t know but I feel the movement is a little bit slow lah. It’s like as though the whip is as heavy as a sword or something. Hopefully this wont be the case when the game finally comes out. However Fury’s voice over does sound menacing. As a Horsemen of the apocalypse, you need to have a really good voice over. To me, that is key to the game and that was also what drew me to the first two games. If you have a whiny, squeaky voice over and you are killing off demons and destroying the Seven deadly sins. That does not cut it for me. Just not shiok to play. Darksiders 3 developed by Gunfire Games and published by THQ Nordic.
