Here comes a new challenger! Evo 2018, the world’s largest fighting game tournament, has a new sponsor, Cygames. Shiok sia, the company are the producers of the Shadowverse digital card game and have entered the Fighting Game Community (FGC) through Cygames Beast, Daigo Umerhara’s team of Street Fighter V competitors.
As part of this new sponsorship, Cygames will provide a booth at Evo 2018 to showcase Cygames Beast, as well as highlight their Shadowverse game. Even got photo-booth for attendees leh!
According to Cygames Executive Director Yuito Kimura;

Earlier in April this year, Cygames and Eliphant had announced that players from Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) would be able to compete for the Shadowverse World Grand Prix for the first time this year. This esports League would give players a chance to compete for $1,000,000 (S$1,331,810).
