Why Streets of Rage 4’s comeback means a lot to me? I still remember to this day when my brother and I got our very first console which was Sega. Streets of Rage was the first game we played together as co-op. It was this game that bonded us together. So that’s why Streets of Rage aka Bare Knuckles meant a lot to me. I’m pretty sure it is the same nostalgic feels for a lot of Singaporean gamers during the nineties as well.
The first game was released in 1991 and the last one was 1994. And now to know that there is going to be a Streets of Rage 4, 24 years later. It’s a wonderful piece of news.

Damn shiok lah when I saw the classic top of the buildings night scene, I just remembered the game fondly. I have to give mad props to the publisher Dotemu and developers Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games for getting this done. I’m curious though if the soundtrack will feature the iconic music by the legendary Yuzo Koshiro or hopefully something new by him would be shiok too.
Axel looks great with a beard and Blaze is looking fine as well. But what I want to know is where in blue hell is Adam lah??? Don’t tell me, he has become the new Mr. X. That would be a good plot twist but sad for me, cos he was my favourite character. And who is the chick with the snake? Adam’s daughter ah? There better be some form of Adam in the game lah.
So far there is no official release date for Streets of Rage 4 yet or which platforms it will be released on. But I will definitely keep an eye on any latest update or information and keep ya’ll in the loop.
