So here are the 20 titles that the mini Sony PlayStation Classic will be releasing on 3rd December this year. There’s Grand Theft Auto, Syphon Filter, Oddworld, Destruction Derby and Twisted freaking Metal for me to go apeshit! This would indeed be a solid Xmas gift lah!

There is going to be a mini Sony PlayStation Classic and I is sibei excited!! Woohoo! Sony just announced that the Sony PlayStation Classic which will be a mini games console that looks exactly like the classic PlayStation set, only smaller lah. The mini PlayStation Classic will be available in Singapore on 3rd December this year and it will cost (SRP) of SGD 139.
The mini console will have 20 original games in it. As of now we don’t have the full set of titles yet but there will be games like Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash!, Tekken 3, Wild Arms and Ridge FREAKING Racer Type 4 lah! I really can’t wait for the rest of the titles to be confirmed. Shiok!
For those youngsters, who have no idea or have never played the classic set before, this is a good time to try it. Good thing is you don’t have to worry that the games don’t hang and all. The shit we used to do to make sure the game work is ridiculous. Blowing of the memory card is one. Inserting the card gently and slowly like as though you are removing the wire from a bomb is another. Praying to 5000 gods for the screen logo to change is normal. The original PlayStation made its debut in Japan on 3rd December 1994 and I along with other old gamers, have never looked back ever since.
The design is exactly the same, just smaller. The button layout, the controllers and the memory card slot. Not sure why the memory card slot is there for but I think its just there as a stark reminder for old school gamers, of the shit we went through. The set will include a HDMI cable to connect to your TV and a USB cable for power supply from a plug. There will be two controllers so you and your friend can fight and kill each other or everyone on certain games. Please remember ah these controllers are WIRED. If you are going to move your controller about like a mad man, there is a high chance the console will follow you. You know this has happened before.
