Watch Dogs: Legion, by Ubisoft Toronto and published by Ubisoft. It is the third instalment in the Watch Dogs series, and the sequel to Watch Dogs 2. It is truly an amazing game and definitely up its ante to beat its predecessors. I enjoyed playing the game and had fun as well.
The third installment of the Watch Dogs series is a tad bit more darker than the first two games. It’s based in London this time and the fictional dystopia looks terrifyingly realistic. And the current shit that’s going on in London is not helping one bit.
The cool thing about Watch Dogs is there really isn’t a central character you can focus on. You can basically play any character you want and that is just amazing. The downside is when you don’t have a central character, it can get a little confusing. However, the supporting cast is weird and damn funny.
The storyline is not too bad, although it is not as good as the first two but at least the skills and gadgets are expanded. Spiderbot rocks! I love that face hugger thing he does to enemies. Upgrade your spiderbot, so you don’t have to a restricted place and your spiderbot can go through vents and all to complete some missions.
Driving around in Watch Dogs: Legion is significantly more smoother than the previous games. It does have that GTA feel to it but not quite there yet. The AI pedestrians can be hilarious at first but it des get a tad bit annoying after a while. They just love jumping to the road. hahaha. The music selection isn’t good either and it’s weird like when you switch cars, the music still follows you like as though its stalking you. hahaha.
Another fun thing to do, is hijacking drones. These buggers are damn tough to get away from at the start but once you are able to get them, it is so much fun to use.
All in all, Watch Dogs: Legion is a fun game to play though it can be a little dark at times. The cool thing is since you can’t travel cos of Covid, what better way to explore London by playing a game.
