In latest news, Square Enix has trademarked Parasite Eve in Europe. This is according to a report in the World Intellectual Property Organization database.
The first entry to the Parasite Eve series was in 1998. Since then, there has been another 2 more games, with Parasite Eve II being released in 1999 and The 3rd Birthday being released in 2010. Since then, there has been no activity on the series.
