It’s a proud day for the Philippines sia. ClutchGuild will represent the Valient Server in the Arena of Valor World Cup (AWC) in Los Angeles on 16th July 2018.
The competition was tough, with the top three teams from Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines clashing in the final leg of the Road to AWC. There had been a total of 460 of hopeful teams in the qualifiers which began back in February. Good job la ClutchGuild.
Day 1, 26th May 2018 saw the Valor Cup Season 2: Road to AWC Philippines National Qualifiers. Wil New Era, ClutchGuild and Bren Esports faced off against each other to be the representative of the Philippines.
ClutchGuild came back from the brink of defeat to be the Philippines’ national representative. Heng haven’t mati yet. At the same time, ClutchGuild managed to fulfill their revenge as Wil New Era had previously won in Season 2.

Day 2, 27th May 2018 saw the battle of the three national representatives – Resurgence from Malaysia, Tamago from Singapore and ClutchGuild from the Philippines. The top 2 teams – ClutchGuild and Tamago – competed in the Road to AWC Finals in a Best-of-7 series. ClutchGuild and Tamago both put up a fierce fight sia. But eventually, ClutchGuild emerged as the Road to AWC Grand Finals Champion.

ClutchGuild will be heading to Thailand for an exclusive bootcamp together with the team representatives of other AOV regions. Always got time for more training mah.
After that, the teams will be heading to Los Angeles to compete for the prize pool of $550,000 (S$738,815) in July 2018. A total of 12 regions, including formidable teams from Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand will be competing head-to-head in the AWC.
