Now I have played quite a few of Lego games so far and have always enjoyed playing them. Lego Movie 2 video game is the latest among TT Games’ Lego franchise and like its predecessors, it still is fun to play. So go get Lego Movie 2 video game which is out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

So basically the gameplay is pretty much the same. You smash shit up, collect coloured Legos, studs and build stuff while you are exploring and completing missions. Pretty much the same style as the previous Lego game, Lego DC Super Villains except for a few different changes. This time round all the characters have the same abilities. You don’t have the puzzles which I always found fun to do and you can’t buy characters and vehicles with studs because now it uses relics to unlock characters, vehicles and other stuff. So that part a bit sian lah.
When you beat enemies and open treasure chests, you get the relics. The good thing is the treasure chests are very easy to spot cos they damn shiny af. So it’s a good thing to always keep a lookout for shiny stuff. Luckily got no microtransactions lah. Missions are pretty much the same. Beat the shit out of enemies, race here, fetch stuff there.
The soundtrack is quite shiok but I felt the VO a little dull. Batman sounds like he is on low batt mode, Lucy sounds bored and Emmett sounds modulated.
All in all it is still a fun game to play and the kids will love it. I’m pretty sure adults will enjoy the game too when you wanna play something that is not too heavy especially after a long day at work and you just want to unwind.
