Founded in 2014, Eliphant is a comprehensive marketing and event production company specializing in the gaming and esports sectors across Asia. Widely known as the organizer of GameStart Asia, one of Southeast Asia’s premier game conventions that was held in Singapore from 2014 to 2019, the company has managed numerous corporate booths and activations at large-scale events, spanning both offline and online formats.
Eliphant was also known as the organizer of SEA Major, which hosted major tournaments for Capcom Pro Tour, Tekken World Tour and co-organised the SoulCalibur Asia League with Bandai Namco Entertainment, making significant contributions to the growth of the fighting game community in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Meanwhile, Sankei Digital launched IGN JAPAN, the Japanese edition of the world’s largest gaming and entertainment news site, in September 2016. The company possesses deep insights based on its unique media perspective and strong distribution capabilities targeting game fans both domestically and abroad. In July 2023, Sankei Digital launched HYPER REAL as an indie game publishing label. Through this initiative, it produces and provides marketing support for highly original and outstanding titles from Japan and overseas, distributing three titles worldwide as of the end of June 2026.
