Fans of the Disgaea series rejoice ah. Nippon Ichi Software president Sohei Niikawa has told the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation that the company will “definitely release” a Disgaea 6. However it seems that all other details such as the release timing, platforms, and game content are still under consideration. So don’t get your hopes up that the game will be coming out any time soon.
Niikawa also mentioned that they are looking at the possibility of expanding Disgaea to other genres outside of strategy RPG. Exciting sia.
