CyGames and Eliphant (GameStart Asia organizer) announced yesterday that Southeast Asian and Oceania players will be able to qualify for the Shadowverse World Grand Prix for the first time this year to compete for the grand prize of US$ 1 million! Swee lah!
Shadowverse SEAO esports circuit will be run under Eliphant’s BEast of the East esports & live production division. It will consist of
- six $1,000 prize pool online tournaments
- one $1,000 Wildcard online tournament
- one $10,000 World Circuit offline tournament
which will all lead up to the Southeast Asia and Oceania Contenders Cup. After that, on October 13th and 14th, the Contenders Cup will take place at GameStart Asia, Singapore’s biggest gaming convention. Now the winner will then have a chance to compete for the US $1 million prize at the Shadowverse World Grand Prix in Japan at the end of the year sia.
