Wah lan finally lah God of War got release date! I am so happy I did a little dance of joy (when no one is looking of course) If this image taken by the US PlayStation Network store is true then 22nd March 2018 will be my second birthday lah.
Why does this trivial piece of news mean a lot to me?
It’s because I have been a huge God of War fan ever since the first game was released. I have spent quite a bit on the special editions as well. I have the games, the toys, the Pandora’s box, a tee shirt( which I cant wear anymore sadly), a freaking silver cup and my most priced possession is an actual size of the Blade of Chaos in metal(got chain all some more ah don’t play play). When I first put it on display in my living room, my wife asked me, what is this for? I just told her, “This is to kill Zeus if he comes to Jurong” She just gave up and gave me that look. That look which usually meant “What is wrong with you?” or “Why am I still with you?” Anyway, never mind, I digress.
Judging from the trailers that came out on PlayStation showcase at E3 2017 and Paris Games Week, God of War looks damn power. Unfortunately, there was no release date set. It only says God of War will be released in 2018. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this date of release is true.
