Indie game Quarantine Circular was just recently released. In the game, millions of humans mati liao from a new plague. But heng ah, not all is lost. A group of scientists interrogate an alien discovered at the heart of this global pandemic. Now players have to work with the team, make decisions and uncover the alien’s true intentions.
Quarantine Circular is a choice-driven narrative game. Players would spend most of their time clicking on dialogue options as part of the many conversations they would have. So don’t expect too much action from the game.
What is unique about Quarantine Circular is that its short. I mean two hours long kinda short. That’s more than enough time to finish the game and request a refund from Steam so that you can get your money back. (Shiok sia, can save money) And yet Bithell Games doesn’t hide that fact. One of the key features of the game is that Quarantine Circular is “A one-sitting game for adults in search of a polished new world to discover”.
Despite the game’s short length, Quarantine Circular has been gaining positive reviews on Steam. At the time of this article, 95% of the reviewers have written positive reviews for the game. Not bad ah, so many people like the game. Clearly, the game is worth checking out at the very least. Quarantine Circular is currently on sale at S$5.20.
