A week ago, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee was announced. I wrote about it and it seemed pretty interesting sia, mixing up Pokemon Go along with the traditional Pokemon formula. The Pokémon company has provided further details on the online functionality of the upcoming Pokémon games.
In a statement to Game Informer, The Pokémon Company said that while both games will feature online capabilities, these capabilities will be limited compared to previous games. Sian, looks like the game won’t be as interactive as the previous games.
- Players will only be able to battle and trade Pokémon with friends
- There is no GTS, Wonder Trade or Battle Spot (Rating Battle, Free Battle, and online Competition, etc)
- Players will need to sign up for a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to access these features.
More information on the games’ online capabilities are to be announced at a later date.
