FAIRY TAIL: Beach Volleyball Havoc, the no-holds-barred, chaotic magic beach volleyball action game based on the beloved FAIRY TAIL manga and anime series, developed and published by tiny cactus studio, MASUDATARO, veryOK and Kodansha Game Creators’ Lab, launches on PC via Steam today.
Create an all-star team of fan-favorite Fairy Tail characters and take to the sands in hectic two-on-two beach volleyball matches where anything goes! Choose from a whopping 32 mages across Fairy Tail, Sabertooth, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, and other guilds from all over Ishgar in the Kingdom of Fiore’s annual beach volleyball tournament.
Scorch the sands as Natsu, freeze opponents in their tracks as Gray, or kick competitors into oblivion as Lucy. Coordinate with partners to spike the opposition with powerful magic strikes. Light up the court with 100 different types of magic and score points to earn enhanced magic and turn the beach into total mayhem as matches progress!
Complete matches to unlock new characters and special illustrations. Serve up magical destruction against CPU opponents, or make it a friendly competition and play with up to four fellow mages in local multiplayer. Take skirmishes online with full support for Steam Remote Play Together to deliver magically charged Aces to friends from across the globe.
In addition, the results of the “FAIRY TAIL at the Beach” Art Contest have been decided! After careful consideration by the FAIRY TAIL: Beach Volleyball Havoc development team and Hiro Mashima himself the winners of the art contest are… (drumroll please)… all 84 entries! For more details about the competition results, please visit the ILLUST DAYS webpage. The more matches that are played, the more visuals that are unlocked. Keep an eye out for a special illustration from Hiro Mashima himself coming soon!
“The FAIRY TAIL INDIE GAME GUILD is proud to bring FAIRY TAIL: Beach Volleyball Havoc to Fairy Tail fans everywhere after the recent release of FAIRY TAIL: DUNGEONS,” tiny cactus studio, the chief creator of the title, at MUKI-MUKI MUSCLE TRAINING COMPETITION. “We aimed to create an action-packed, chaotic, and lighthearted experience that all Fairy Tail fans could enjoy with each other, so we hope to see mages everywhere out on the beach!”
