Cody joins Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition alongside the third season of DLC fighters. It seems that Cody has left his convict look for a more stylish appearance. Become shuai ge already. Quite fitting considering that Cody is now the mayor. Skills wise, depending on which V-Trigger the player chooses, Cody gains access to his trusty knife or pipe.
V-Trigger 1: Side Arm
Cody wields his trademark knife. He can also throw the knife mid-combo, losing possession of it.
V-Trigger 2: Bad Coach
Cody wields his pipe and he gains the ability to knock rocks into the air that come down on the opponent some time later. The pipe seems to add some range to his attacks and it is assumed that damage is increased as well. This V-Trigger can send a rock flying ahead as well, hitting multiple times. The rock broke through Abigail’s multi-hit absorbing armour. Cody looks to be a power character sia, dealing out heavy attacks like that.
Cody looks to be joining the game in under a month’s time on 26th June. Time to board the train and get hyped for the new mayor of Metro City liao.
